UNTROP

UNTROP was formed in september of 2009 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
The initial sound was desribed as doom/dark metal. After the debut EP "Silence" (released 2010), the band has gone through some lineup changes, as well as the change of the musical direction - new songs were heavier, faster, more diverse. So the band has made a decision to stick to the new sound and make the most out of it. As of now, the music is built around the powerful riffs, orchestration and meaningful lyrics. Dark atmosphere is now even more emphasized and mixed with dynamics and melody. The violinist has added freshness and more excitement to it. The style (genre) that the band plays in is best to be described as "symphonic blackened death metal".
