Manuel Gardner-Fernandes

Manuel Gardner-Fernandes is a guitarist, vocalist, producer, and founding member of the Band Unprocessed. Manu’s musical journey began early. He was only three years old when his parents bought him his first guitar. Inspired by James Hetfield, he decided early on that he wanted to become a musician.

At sixteen, Manu founded Unprocessed in his bedroom. From the start, he had a vision for what it could become. The Band spent its first years as a local act before breaking through internationally, building a sound that fuses metal, pop, jazz, hip hop, and electronic elements into something entirely its own. Known for performing intricate guitar passages while singing lead vocals, Manu has earned a reputation as one of the most technically gifted and versatile musicians in modern progressive music.

Beyond Unprocessed, Manu works as a mixing and mastering engineer, has an Ibanez signature guitar, a Mixwave guitar plugin and loves video games, anime & Ramen.
