"Galerie Bonnière" is an independent art gallery open to the public year-round since 2009 in the center of Saint-Girons, SW France. Run by Christophe Bonnière and Elena Berg husband and wife artists-team since 1999, gallery exhibits Fine-Art silver-gelatin black and white classic photography collections by Christophe Bonnière, taken with 4" by 5" film negative large format camera ZONE VI. It also showcases Elena Berg's art jewelry made in her studio - in the back of the gallery.
Christophe Bonnière limited edition of 25 or One-of-a-kind unique analog photographs are printed by Christophe in his darkroom, located in the PNR - French Pyrennes Mountains National Park. The darkroom was built specifically with the objective of making silver-gelatin from raw ingredients.
Christophe Bonnière is one of the few contemporary Fine-Art photographers who makes his own photo-emulsion, individually producing photo papers, in the style of pioneer inventors.
