Performing Art Works
Art, and the arts, occupy that liminal space where transformation is possible. But a global pandemic, and the accompanying restrictions have brought our industry to its knees. That's where "Performing Art Works" comes in. A South African virtual physical theatre group, it not only aims to provide work to artists who have limited opportunities, but also to provide that liminal space, so needed to both artist and spectator.
We have been fortunate to receive funding from the NAC's PESP initiative to get this project going, but to keep making art and providing opportunities we need subscriptions and viewing time. So please like, subscribe, share , and leave a comment so we can know how to improve.
Moving forward we would like to collaborate with other film makers, animators, choreographers, musicians, visual artists, writers, and poets and create beautifully artistic physical theatre pieces that are both expressive and moving.
