Ray Sawyer is a multi-award-winning wedding photographer, filmmaker and educator based in the North East of England, known for his honest, moment-driven storytelling and relaxed approach.
Specialising in hybrid photo and film coverage, Ray has worked with over 300 couples since 2015, capturing weddings across the UK and Europe with a style that blends authenticity, elegance and emotion.
His work has earned over 150 international awards — including wins from Fearless, This is Reportage, and the Masters — and was featured in Tatler and Vanity Fair magazines. He was twice named overall Photographer of the Year by Wedisson (2020 & 2021), won the Wedding Category at the British Photography Awards, and has been nominated for Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars.
Ray believes in one simple ethos: It's a wedding day, not a photo shoot. His goal is to tell your story just as it felt — real, emotional, and unforgettable.
