Small Rails
My shelf and micro Shunting/Switching Layouts.
I am originally from Upper Hutt, New Zealand. I live near Palmerston North at present.
I have modeled many gauges and scales since my teens. I now model O Gauge, UK 1/43.5. I am a shelf and micro layout guy. I love to build point to point shunting/switching layouts. My current and best layout is Pepper Road Depot, a fictitious freight yard in Yorkshire on a branch, that feeds a nearby Freightliner freight yard.
I have sold my newly acquired HO Australian locomotives, but still possess the switching layout I built. I may dabble in OO, but O is my main focus.
I sense OO modelers cringe at O or act befuddled, but it is only a bigger version, please don't descriminate 🤣
