Big Northern Bear’s Brain Cancer Journey

Hello, I’m Big Northern Bear. On October 13, 2023, I learned I had a 3.5cm brain tumor—an aggressive, malignant Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma. Surgery removed 95% of it, leaving me with active brain cancer to monitor closely. In February, I stepped away from standard care to focus on my career, practice my faith, and live with happiness and quality, placing my care in God’s hands. I also manage Cushing’s syndrome from prolonged dexamethasone use and PNES seizures, which have no clear treatment.

**Disclaimer:** I don’t believe in universal cures for all cancers, such as keto, carnivore, or vegan diets, manuka honey, or turmeric. Cancer is over a thousand diseases, each responding differently. Always consult your oncologist before trying any intervention.

25% of all donations go to Margaret's Place Hospice, which provides me with vital respite care. This channel is a personal vlog, not medical advice—my goal is to support others navigating their own unique cancer journeys.
