He is influenced by Japanese pop music, 70's-80's Japanese City Pop, American and British rock/pop, Jazz, Hawaiian, Brazilian, and Classical music. IchiroB is a member of Miki Takano & Gamba Go (a San Jose-based Japanese Pop Band) and also plays in many local bands.
