This is Goblin - our 1985 Catalina 30 tall rig. My wife and I bought him in 2023. Since then, we've cruised and raced thousands of miles on the Great Lakse, completed major refits, and learned that the best way to own a boat is to actually use it.

This channel documents our ongoing journey transforming a 40-year-old production cruiser into a capable racer through upgrades and DIY maintenance. We show every project - from the planning stages through completion - with full transparency on costs, mistakes, and lessons learned.
