Sailors School

Hello sailors and those who would like to become such. Being a sailor is on the one hand a dream of almost every child but on the other hand also a challenging job.
While most of the people just are thinking about the beautiful sunsets, in truth we are facing besides normal navigation also a lot of legal regulations as international and national laws depending on the area we are sailing.
My teacher in school always said: “Going to sea is no rocket science” And he is right. My channel shall provide you a simple view on nautical science, so that everybody is able to understand what is our job about.

About myself:
I was born 1988 in a small village in the northern part of Germany. So far I am working as chief mate on a cruise ship. Before I worked on several ships as container and multipurpose. As in the last years the economic crises leaded to problems in maritime industry I took the possibility to start with passenger ship.
