Willed Body Programme Gannavaram A.P. India
The Department of Veterinary Anatomy (College of Veterinary Science, Gannavaram) under the aegis of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University in Andhra Pradesh, India is working towards ethical approaches towards the use of animals in veterinary education and for the relief of animal suffering. We have organized the National Workshop on “Willed Body Programme and Humane Alternatives for Laboratories in Veterinary Education” on 30-08-2019. WBP is an alternative to healthy animal sacrifice and dissections are done on ethically sourced cadavers procured by way of donation of animals to satisfy the ethical concerns of all involved. This YouTube channel ‘Willed-Body Programme, Gannavaram, A.P. India’ was launched to project the humane activities being undertaken in this regard for wider reach of scientific information. It is linked to the university website also. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe, share and help in spreading this message for the cause of animals, our fellow living beings.
