Hughes Performance is a family owned-and-operated manufacturing facility specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of custom torque converters and automotive-based automatic transmission assemblies, as well as associated components & accessories. We have been in business for 5 decades.
Our focus is primarily on US domestic market products, including offerings for General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler platforms. We also specialize in a variety of products for other platforms that may or may not be USDM-based, including Daimler Star Motors (DSM), Toyota 1JZ & 2JZ, Nissan RB20 - RB30, Mazda 13B & 20B Rotary, Australian Ford Barra, and Australian Ford SOHC EA - AU series.
Here at Hughes Performance, we are constantly striving to refine our product line as well as develop and bring new, innovative products to market. Our product line covers a variety of market segments, with a particular focus on drag racing and high horsepower street applications 500 - 5,000+ HP!!
