1997年よりソロ活動を開始。現在迄にオリジナルアルバム15枚をリリースする等、精力的な活動を行なっている。
LUNA SEA、ソロ活動の他にもTourbillon、Muddy Apesなどのプロジェクトで活動をするかたわら、音楽プロデュースやプレミアムテキーラのオリジナルブレンドを発売、オーディオブランドのアンバサダー、フェンダー社とのエンドースメント契約を締結し、日本人アーティスト初のシグネイチャー・ジャズマスターを発表した事で大きな話題を呼び、ファッションショーへの楽曲提供及びモデル参加等、多岐に渡る分野で活動の場をそして、世界に向けて活動の幅を着実に拡げている。

Inoran is guitarist/singer/producer. He is the co-founder and guitarist for Japanese heavyweight rock band “Luna sea”. In 1997, the band took a one year hiatus because all five members wanted to pursue solo projects. Inoran released his first single “Sou” in September 1997.
Inoran has released fourteen solo albums and a combined 57 albums with four different bands. Having just eclipsed the 30 years mark as a member of one of the most successful rock bands in the world and 20 years as a solo artist.
