Danny Holland
Danny Holland was born in Hastings, East Sussex in 1991. After attending Buckswood School and receiving initial tuition from Helen Lohmueller of the East Sussex Music Service he began his study of the Classical Guitar in earnest at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester. He is currently studying with eminent Classical Guitarist Gary Ryan at the Royal College of Music, London.
Praised for his emotional approach to music, unique tone, and respect for both early and contemporary compositions, Danny is an active recitalist and has acted as leader of the National Youth Guitar Ensemble (2009 -- 2011), he has also worked with the Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble and the North Devon Guitar Ensemble, as well as participating in many musical festivals around the world, most notably
the West Dean Guitar Festival, the Festival of Music at the Conservatorio G. Verdi di Torino and the Hastings Musical Festival, of which he is a long-standing contributor.
