Friend's Hiking Club started in 1996. Since then, Friend's Hiking Club has had over 500 outings in 10 states as well as Mexico. We have hiked in Glacier National Park, The Grand Canyon, The John Muir Trail, Grand Gulch, UT, Canyon de Chelly, Chaco Canyon, Yellowstone, just to name a few.
Friend's has over 60 members, ages range from 25 to 65-something, married and single, with and without children, with professions ranging from artists to engineers to retired trail bums.
We do day hikes, backpacks, canoe/kayak trips, and have activities from Beginner to Advanced - you're sure to find something to tickle your fancy. So, if you are interested in learning more about our Club, you are welcome to attend any of our hikes or the monthly meeting.
