Archives Society of Alberta
ASA is a professional association for archives and archivists. We build resilient archival professionals and organizations that meet the needs of their communities.
ASA provides a number of services to meet these ends. We host and manage Alberta On Record, one of western Canada’s largest online databases for archival records, we provide advisory services, organize and promote collaborative outreach initiatives, send out quarterly e-newsletters to members, administer grants, advocate and coordinate with other archival bodies at all levels of government, offer archives training and hold a bi-annual conference to bring together those working in Alberta’s archives to learn, grow and share.
