Guzzi Newbie
I'm returning to motorcycling after two decades. My dad took me across the Badlands on a 1993 BMW R100GS Paris-Dakar adventure bike when I was a lad, and now I'm hoping to do some road-trips with my young son on a 2020 Moto Guzzi V85 TT Adventure bike.
A 500lb ADV bike is pretty much the same as the little dirt bike I rode in my teens, right? Wish me luck, and follow along as I learn how to ride and care for my Guzzi.
**UPDATE**
I totaled my V85TT by going wide into a guardrail. I took a short flight and a long slide, and I was saved by ATGATT. After a few weeks off, I replaced the Guzzi with the cheaper, lighter, less powerful KTM 390 ADV that will be easier to learn and grow on. Still considering what to do about my name and branding.
