Veena Rajan Vaidheeswaran

Rajan Vaidheeswaran comes from a family of musicians. His mother Smt. Saroja Vaidheeswaran introduced him to Carnatic music, and he began training in Veena at an early age from Smt. Anthalakshmi Warrier. Inspired by the techniques of Dr. Shri. Chitti Babu, he pursued advanced training under the maestro. Rajan has actively performed on many occasions both in India and the US in live venues, television, and radio shows.

Driven by his passion to teach, he started Guruvaram Music School in 2014 and performs with his students at events around the San Francisco Bay Area. As a mark of respect and to honor his Guru, he follows the multi-genre tradition of Dr. Chitti Babu’s works appreciating both classical and fusion pieces. While Veena is his passion, he also sings, plays keyboard, and dabbles in video editing, sound mixing/audio engineering.
