Michael Fries

Michael Fries, lyric tenor vocalist from Long Island, NY. He now resides in Des Moines, IA. Michael trained as a classical vocalist for over 15 years. Michael's accomplishments include winning Long Island's 2007 106.1 WBLI Island Idol competition and the prize of $5,000 for his pop vocals. Michael has also won awards and competitions for his powerful classically trained vocals. Michael's rendition of tenor aria "Il Mio Tesoro" from Don Giovanni won him the 2009 Binghamton Concerto Competition. Michael has been seen in several operas with Binghamton's Tri-Cities Opera. Each summer, Michael can be found performing the National Anthem for various MLB or NHL organizations.
