World Organization of Students
The World Organization of Students (WOS) is an international organization that brings together more than 18,000 students, student groups and organizations officially created around the world, in charge of ensuring the proper implementation of education in the world. Founded on March 9, 2009 in Rionegro, Antioquia - Colombia at the I World Assembly of Students WAS, it has been recognized as an international actor by the Andean Parliament during the III Andean Social Summit, in the reform of the Andean Social Charter carried out in May 2012 in Bogotá, Colombia. WOS belongs to UNESCO's Innovemos Network and is also part of the Corporate Volunteering Network of Latin America. The main headquarters of the organization and its Presidency are established in Medellín, Antioquia - Colombia.
