Amboko Julians

I am an enthusiast of the confluence between finance, economics an communications (across broadcast, print and digital platforms) and the power it can unleash in pushing the boundaries of financial literacy, particularly in developing economies. My academic background is in economics, both undergraduate where I did a B.A. in Economics and postgraduate where I did a Masters degree in Economic Policy. Professionally, I spent two years in stock brokerage based in Nairobi and five years in financial advisory (sell side) covering a portfolio of ten African economies including Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia. Thereafter, I transitioned to mass communication with a bias in print and broadcast. This channel is the melting pot of my broadcast work, mainly interviews on topical issues. I have interviewed thought leaders including the World Bank Chief Economist; International Monetary Fund's Director for Africa; Britain's former premier, Tony Blair & a number of C-suite executives
