Finsterwalder & Charly
The Finsterwalder GmbH is headquartered in Munich and was founded in 1974. In 1990, the company acquired the well-known brand Charly Produkte.
Our Munich headquarter focuses on the wholesale and retail sale of hang gliding and paragliding equipment such as helmets, sportswear, etc. Also buckles for paragliding harnesses and hardware components for rescue systems, paragliders as well as hang gliders are developed and manufactured in the city at the heart of Bavaria and are marketed from there to wholesale traders all around the world.
After the closing of the Charly branch office in Seeg / Allgäu in mid 2016, our service department for harnesses and rescue systems has moved to the paragliding school Hochries at 83098 Brannenburg. There, as well as at our workshop in Munich-Allach, our products are constantly developed by Tom Grabner and Thomas Finsterwalder.
