I don’t begin an event until you can hear a pin drop and all eyes are on me, whether it’s a boutique wedding at a Sydney restaurant or an 800 people guest list in an exclusive city ballroom, it’s the one thing that I insist on and I feel is my duty as Wedding MC. There are only a few special moments in a wedding celebration where the guests attention is crucial to the flow of the night and I pride myself on ensuring moments like “Speeches” and “Cutting of the Cake” are fully appreciated, if the atmosphere is not created effectively then an MC hasn’t done his or her job properly, it’s these moments that make the night and you’ve got to be able to control the room and hit those highs.

Thanks to over 20 years of experience many of the skills needed for the successful running of an event come second nature, from controlling placement of the bridal party on entry, guiding the bride and groom through the cutting of the cake, to coordinating meal times with the kitchen.
