Emily Bear

Emily Bear is a 24 year old Grammy & Emmy Award-winning composer, songwriter, performer, pianist and producer. Alongside Abigail Barlow, she co-wrote the soundtrack for Moana 2, released in November to record-breaking billion dollar box office success. Together, they made history as the youngest duo and the only female songwriting team to compose an entire soundtrack for a Disney animated film. Bear has performed her own works since her professional debut at age five on some of the world’s most iconic stages, including Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center, Montreux Jazz Festival and the White House. At just nine years old, her mentor, Quincy Jones, produced her chart-topping original jazz album, Diversity. In 2022, Bear won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album & Forbes’s 30 Under 30 list. Bear has composed scores for multiple feature films, 2 of these reached #1 on Netflix worldwide & Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour as her featured pianist.
