The Kentucky Museum
The Kentucky Museum, located in Bowling Green, Ky on Western Kentucky University's campus, is your home for history, art, and culture! Check out current and upcoming exhibits, museum theatre performances, information for teachers, field trips, camps, programming, and more! Permanent exhibits include the life of local celebrity, Duncan Hines; a look at the Civil War from a local perspective; a decorative arts gallery with items ranging from an Egyptian sarcophagus to 1970s macramé; and a gallery of regional quilts. Changing galleries feature community exhibitions, university class designed and installed exhibitions, and annual events such as the US Bank art show.
