Shaykh Haroun Kanj
Shaykh Haroun Kanj is a contemporary Sunni scholar and da’i based in Australia, originally of Lebanese descent. He studied the Islamic sciences with the renowned scholars of Yemen, Lebanon and Syria and is passionate about reviving traditional Islam as understood by generations of scholars throughout our history by following the two schools of Aqeedah (Ashari and Maturidi), one of the four schools of law (Hanafi, Maaliki, Shafii and Hanbali) and the spiritual path (Tariqa).
Shaykh Haroun currently teaches a broad range of subjects including Aqidah (theology), Fiqh (jurisprudence), Hadith, Quran and Arabic Grammar to hundreds of students of knowledge in Australia.
