The Department of Parks & Recreation now safeguards more than four thousand acres of land which is dedicated to the enjoyment of our citizens and the conservation of open space.
This impressive acreage includes 27 parks, four conservation areas, and two golf courses. With over 4000 acres of preserved and well-maintained land, you can enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, ball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds and so much more. With parks from Point Pleasant to Tuckerton, you’re sure to find an adventure near you.
