Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI), an emerging accreditation body was set up to create an ecosystem of education, training, quality improvement and accreditation. It offers accreditation activities under its two centres-
Centre for Accreditation of Health & Social Care (CAHSC)- Provides accreditation to hospitals, dental centres, eye centres, IVF/ART centres, Home health care, Dialysis centres etc.
Centre for Laboratory Accreditation (CLA)- Provides accreditation to testing laboratories (as per ISO/IEC 17025) and medical laboratories (as per ISO 15189)
