Garfield, the cartoon character is featured heavily since Robert Kothe’s wife holds the Guinness World Record for most Garfield collectables. Cathy and Robert are very active in the Garfield collectors community including the Garfield Gathering. The Garfield Gathering is a Garfield collectors convention that meets every two years. It is also known as “Garfest”.
Cathy and Robert also foster Dogs for the North Shore Animal League. They are one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in the world. In 2016, Cathy and Robert were recognized by NSAL as the fosters of the year.
