I live full time out of my 5x8 cargo trailer-camper conversion and enjoy the flexibility of having no rent.This enables me to save money very quickly, which allows me the time to see more of the country and to camp and hike and live around nature.
Five years ago I built out my first 5x8 cargo trailer as a camper/micro home. Three years ago it was totaled in Las Vegas after being rear ended at a stop light (hit and run). I then bought a new 5x8 cargo trailer and built it out with some upgrades. Since then I have spent over 500 days living in it and put more than 10,000 miles on it driving around the country.
Most of the time I use public land to camp on for free. Other times require me to live near my job out of my trailer to make a living, and this year I need to buy a new car so I'm stuck for a longer stretch of time working, ugh.
