Sunu Kaddu Music
Sunu Kaddu, which means “Our Word” in Wolof, is a collective that supports the education and expression of culture by young people in Senegal. This is done largely through the lens of hip hop culture, a vital expression of youth culture that is often overlooked or dismissed. The Sunu Kaddu collective, led by emcee and producer PPS the Writah, embraces the idea that young people have the capacity to analyze and guide their own situations. Its programming focuses on life skills training, music production and organizational management.
Sunu Kaddu, qui signifie « Notre Parole » en wolof, est un collectif qui soutient l’éducation et l’expression de la culture par les jeunes au Sénégal. Principalement à travers le prisme de la culture hip-hop, le collectif Sunu Kaddu, dirigé par l’artiste et producteur PPS the Writah met l’accent sur la formation aux compétences de vie, la production musicale et l'evenementiel.
