It all started with a pilgrimage for my mom. It would be a nice long break after 25+ years of corporate life. Explore nature while my mom caught up with all her Gods, maybe I will find God too? Finally a chance to see the Shirui lily bloom in Manipur. But the universe had different plans! On May 3, 2023, everything just went crazy in Manipur with the conflict breaking out leaving many many people displaced! I stayed in Manipur for 39 days and witnessed awful sufferings. Listening to stories – the pain, the hopelessness, the trauma, the fear, the anger, the grief, the confusion – left a huge void in my heart.
