British Transport Films Vaults
The alternative side of British Transport Films.
Created by the British Transport Commission in 1949 under Edgar Anstey's guidance, BTF created a wonderous collection of films until its cessation in 1982.
The classic works are all available to purchase or view through the correct official channels such as BFI Player and so have no place here.
Here you will find the rarities, the outtakes, the post BTF era British Rail commissioned films that would otherwise have been forgotten.
If you possess rare VHS or DVD copies of British Rail commissioned non-BTF productions then please contact the channel's proprietors so we can share them to a wider - and appreciative - audience.
Our intentions are strictly 'not for profit' and purely educational/
