Christian Claborne
Welcome to the Ham Ninja's Youtube Channel. My primary topic is Summits On The Air (SOTA). It's a amateur radio geek hobby where ham operators find a summit using sotl.as or other site and get to the top of the summit (hike, drive, walk, free solo) and "activate" it for points by getting a minimum of 4 contacts with HF, VHF, UHF or microwave. It's a hobby that I really enjoy given the outdoor nature but there's also an element of adventure and not knowing what to expect on top and the challenge of setting up sometimes. It's always different.
I have a training series called SOTA 360 that focuses on some of the specifics on how to do SOTA and I'll try to work in some reviews as well.
I hope to catch you on a summit soon.
