Hollcana Farm
Hollcana Farm is a family operated, 50 cow dairy herd in Ontario, Canada. This farm was started in 1960 by John Sr. and his wife Johanna who immigrated from Holland in 1954. It is now operated by their son Ron, his wife Debra and their son John Jr. with his wife Melynda. Their other son Jasper also works part time on the farm.
The farm has all registered Holstein cows that are raised on the farm and were milked till the fall of 2024 in a tie stall, hip roof, bank barn. We try to grow most of our own feed for the cows and sell some crops.
In 2024 we built a WeCover/A4 Lely Robot Barn and upgraded to a feed kitchen for filling our TMR. The farm is in the process of increasing our herd to milking 60 cows and adjusting to life with robots.
