Hello and welcome to Great Lakes Fly & Outdoors. I have created this channel to demonstrate how I violate the social norms of fishing by pursuing techniques not often used to target certain species. This can be anything from making lures of my own design, to fishing from a dinghy in places others wouldn't take such a vessel, and even using rods that might be considered too small by some anglers to catch huge fish. I also love to use my fly rod in locations that seem impossible to make a cast. Some of my techniques may be used by everyone, but others are born from my own imagination. If there's one thing I want fellow fishermen and fisherwomen to take from my channel, it would be that its so much fun to think outside the box. If you have a dream or hypothesis on how to go out and do something crazy to catch a fish, do it!!! I am currently in nursing school so I will be posting videos at least once a month.
