This is the official YouTube Channel of the Language Teachers' Association of Zambia, LATAZ, a teacher association in Zambia that provides and promotes Continuing Professional Development opportunities to primary and secondary school language and literacy teachers and teacher trainers. The mission of the association is to connect, develop and support the work of language teachers to provide quality language learning experiences to the learners. LATAZ conducts face-to-face and online events to achieve its mission at school, zonal, district, provincial and national level such as workshops, conferences, language and literacy fairs, debate competitions, spelling bees, webinars and so on. It does all its work in collaboration with several partners both home and abroad such as the Ministry of Education, British Council, International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL), Oxford University Press and Zambia Spelling Bee. This channel will highlight its work.
