A newly formed ensemble in Calgary. Our goal is to preserve and promote Ukrainian folk songs in their original sound - just as they once were, just as our grandmothers remember them.

Authentic vocals, rich polyphony, and songs that only a few have ever heard - that’s HUP!
Now, as efforts to erase us both physically and culturally intensify, it is more important than ever to rediscover, preserve, and amplify true Ukrainian culture.
