Portsmouth Diocese
The Church of England's Diocese of Portsmouth covers 130 parishes in south-east Hampshire and the Isle of Wight - from Botley in the west to Emsworth in the east, and stretching to Blackmoor and Whitehill in the north. Our churches embrace a range of styles of worship, from traditional services with an organ and a choir, to guitar-based worship groups, to creative prayer stations. They're also engaged in all sorts of community projects, ranging from toddler groups to lunch clubs for the elderly, and from drop-in groups for asylum seekers to Foodbanks for the hungry. Our bishop is the Rt Rev Jonathan Frost, the tenth Bishop of Portsmouth.
