Gnar Biologist Backpacks

By Day: Biologist. By other time of day: Gnar Biologist Backpacker.

I recently graduated with my master’s in marine science and currently work full time at an environmental toxicology lab. After so much schooling I was itching to find a hobby, and backpacking sort of fell into my lap and I quickly became obsessed. I am still a bit of a noob, but am having so much fun learning that I decided to start vlogging my outings as a sort of diary for myself. However, maybe others would be interested in watching the diary of a solo female backpacker who also is a scientist and loves to observe the natural world.

I’m also a metalhead, am obsessed with my cats, love doing art, and a perfect sunday for me is getting a little iced coffee treat before thrifting/antiquing.
