CB & 11m band radio operator from England, originally from North East England now living and working in Hertfordshire near Ware, approximately 80 miles North of London. I also go mobile from time to time, mainly in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I started on the CB back in 1989/90 at the age of 10, I fell in love with the CB, I soon discovered DXing on 11m band. I started off with a Binatone Route 66, a 40 channel UK CB. I’ve had many CB’s in the past, Binatone, Rotel 240, Midland Allan 48 & 78 plus, Audiolines, you name it I’ve probably had it. Then my Dad got me a Mk 1 Cobra 148 GTL-DX and then a Mk 1 President Lincoln, my antenna at the time was a high gain silver rod, then my dad got me an Antron 99.

I was on and off the CB till around 1999/2000 then I joined the British 🇬🇧 military. I’ve travelled different parts of the world and now work as a Paramedic in England.

I’ve only been back on the air since March 2025.
