Dr. Stephen C. Page is a mentor, teacher, and curator of talent and culture, as Associate Professor of Saxophone at The University of Texas at Austin. He helps young artists cultivate their interests, grow their knowledge, and find their voice, so that they are excited about their work, living on their growing edge, and tangibly aiming toward the vision of success they see for themselves.
Dr. Page has been a Yamaha Performing Artists for more than 20 years, and is also an artist for D'Addario and E.Rousseau. He has released more than 15 recordings, and concertized across five continents, held office with the North American Saxophone Alliance, and served as adjudicator for many competitions. Page is a graduate of some of the finest schools of music in the country, where he studied with Eugene Rousseau, Otis Murphy, and Kenneth Tse.
This channel intended as a place to not only share music, but also an educational platform for all things saxophone.
