At Breyers, we always start with high quality ingredients. Our pledge to quality has made us a family favorite since 1866. We partner with American farmers for only 100% Grade A milk and cream, which also comes from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones. In 2018, we’re working with the Walls Farmer Fund to support farmers who provide milk and cream for Breyers ice cream.

In 1866, William A. Breyer of Philadelphia hand-cranked his first gallon of ice cream. Today Breyers remains committed to making ice creams with 100% grade A dairy, sustainably farmed vanilla and fruits, and naturally sourced colors and flavors. Every speck of vanilla that goes into our products is 100% sustainable. We work with the Rainforest Alliance and others to ensure our vanilla comes from sustainable farms in Madagascar. 100% of our fruit is sustainably farmed.
