YEAN Agribusiness
Youth Engagement in Agriculture Network is a private youth-led enterprise committed to fostering sustainable agricultural practices. Founded in 2014 with the mission to engage young people to empower farmers and agripreneurs, YEAN core business revolves around the provision of private agriculture extension and advisory services, Access to quality farm inputs and running YEAN commercial demo farms and capacity building through YEAN Private Extension and Advisory Learning Program (PEALE).
YEAN use its youth led models to create and negotiate contracts in agriculture including capacity building, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. YEAN facilitates the sale of essential farm inputs and equipment to over 12,000 farmers through the YEAN Network of over 45,000 farmers, agricultural experts, buyers, and consumers. At the intersection of YEAN’ s work is YEAN proven model “YEAN youth led models".
