Prof. Dr. Arshad Javid, Wildlife Biologist
Prof. Dr. Arshad Javid is serving Department of Wildlife and Ecology, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He is the key person who earned projects for the establishments of Zoological Museum, GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory, Avian Conservation and Research Center and Up-gradation of Labs in the department.He published noteworthy literature in international and national journals, organized and delivered lectures in various workshops to create awareness among public about the significance of biodiversity and published articles in newspapers and wildlife magazines to address conservation issued.He has been awarded with Prof. Dr. Mirza Azhar Beg Gold Medal by the Pakistan Congress of Zoology, Research Productivity Award by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology and Prof. Dr. Shahnaz Akhtar Rana Gold Medal by Applied Zoological Congress of Pakistan for his contributions in the field of Wildlife and Ecology.
