Humes Little Homestead

Welcome to our family vlog!! We are learning homesteading skills together on our little acre of land and want to share our journey with you. Come along with us as we learn these important life skills together.

Currently we are raising quail, ducks, chickens and a pig. We love to garden and have been navigating the difficulties of gardening in a semi-desert region. Newer skills we are working on include baking, cooking from scratch, canning and knife building.

Skills we would like to learn more about include fermenting food properly, beekeeping and raising goats. We are looking forward to these goals and hope to add them sooner than later. We are glad you are here helping us learn, all the comments are so helpful!!
