Leo Lastimosa

Leo Lastimosa is a Cebuano broadcast journalist based in Cebu, Philippines. He also writes a daily Cebuano column for The Freeman, Cebu's oldest newspaper. He was the anchor of TV Patrol Central Visayas before ABS-CBN Regional stations were shut down. He also taught Cebuano News Production at St. Theresa's College in Cebu City. He was a former chairman of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Cebu Chapter. He started his broadcast career in DYLA (Vimcontu Broadcasting) in 1984 before moving to DYRF (Word Broadcasting Network) in 1991 and then to DYAB (the AM station of ABS-CBN in Cebu) in 1995. He graduated in Political Science at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR) in Cebu City. He also enrolled but did not graduate in the College of Law of the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City.
