My name is Joshua, but you can call me Josh.
I’m 14 years old and currently in year 10 in high school, my long-term goal is to become a F1 driver but my back up plan is to follow my dad’s footsteps and become a fire fighter.
My parents tell me I have liked wheels since I could move. I have an avid interest in racing and driving and started Karting in October 2019.
Covid put a big dampener on my karting journey and when I could go back to karting, in 2021, the original track that I went too had closed.
I started indoor karting, and very quickly became quickest on track every time I went. I started racing the race director and he said, ‘the student has become the master’. It was time to find a new track – I wanted to get into outdoor karting.

In comparison to a lot of racers I have not got much experience, but I love my time in the kart, and I am always striving to improve.
