Welcome to my channel, LOVING MY NONNA LIFE, I'm Carm. A little about myself: My parents came to Canada from Naples, Italy, in 1964. They worked hard to give my sisters and I the best life possible. I remember my mom always in the kitchen cooking something; a pasta dish or roasted chicken and potatoes, pizza, cookies; and my dad kept himself busy in his vegetable garden. We never had a shortage of vegetables thanks to him.
I will be sharing with you some of my favourite childhood comfort foods, foods that trigger happy memories.
Today, I am a mom of 2 and a Nonna (grandma) to 4 adorable and very active grandchildren. Life is anything but boring around here…hence my channel name. I'm not a professional chef or a baker by any means, however, my love for making things, brings me here.
