Desert Rest NV is the name I chose for my 11 acres of off-grid property in Northern Nevada. My Mom said, "Sherry, you are a land baron now!" The name is inspired by Mark 6:31. May 2025 I was finally able to make the move permanent. The photo is the view I enjoy while drinking my morning tea. My visitors say the feel here is quiet and peaceful. The property is far enough from town no light pollution obscures the stars. The view is spectacular! It is wonderful to spend my evenings watching the stars, sitting around the fire pit sharing good food with good friends. It's going to be a place of refuge and recovery from the harshness of life.
